- Train students in practical cartographic representation for undergraduate geography.

- Scale, direction, symbols and map projection basics.
- Relief representation: contours, hachures and spot heights.
- Toposheet interpretation and terrain analysis.
- Thematic map design and visual hierarchy.
- Practical map compilation and field sketching.
Practical Components
- Draw cross-sections from contour maps.
- Prepare two thematic maps from sample data.
- Submit practical notebook with cartographic conventions.
